About 30 kilometers north of Málaga, the grounds of Antequera Golf are embedded into the undulating landscape just 5 minutes by car west of Antequera. The closest highway exit near the golf course is near Los Llanos at the A-92, about 5 kilometers north of Antequera Golf. The fresh green of the course’s tended fairways elegantly sets itself apart from the Mediterranean landscape of Andalusia. Overall, the 18-hole course of Antequera Golf extends over more than 6,000 meters. Players can often smell the fresh, spicy fragrance of herbs such as rosemary and lavender, which grow between knotty old olive trees, blowing over the course. Even advanced golfers have to show their tactical A game to succeed at holes 3 and 6. Hole 13 has the most water hazards, where multiple vast lakes add to visual appeal and challenging golf. In total, there are 18 artificial lakes and water courses spread over the entire golf course.
