Araluen Golf Resort

To the east of Perth, by a wonderful mountainside, lies the 18-hole course of the Araluen Golf Resort. The beautiful course was created by the well-known golf course designers Michael Coate and Roger Mackay. Not an easy task for the duo: The terrain in Darling Range is very hilly, forested, and quite rocky. However, the resort perfectly fits into the fabulous mountain landscape of western Australia. Due to the terrain with its great differences in elevation as well as fairways with steeply inclined holes and dropping fairways, Araluen Golf Resort is very demanding. The course requires players to demonstrate excellent strategic and technical golfing skills. This applies to many holes, particularly the 16th, with a steep downward slope of more than 30 meters and protection in the form of a pond in front of and dense shrubbery behind it. The course is diverse and stands out with gorgeous views. The Araluen Golf Resort is open all year round. The course boasts a glorious appearance in the fall, when the trees change color in a magical firework display of yellow, orange, and red leaves. There is a great club restaurant at Araluen Golf Resort, presenting guests with a fantastic view of the park, a bar, and a pro shop. The atmosphere at Araluen is casual and welcoming – a beautiful course in a great environment, just 45 minutes from Perth by car.
