Ashburton Golf Club

A handsome course on New Zealand’s South Island. TheAshburton Golf Club is one of 17 courses in the Aorangi Region. The facilities are located just one kilometer to the north of Ashburton and can be reached easily by car. The 18 hole, par 72 course is considered one of the top courses of the region and can be played year-round. The course is challenging and always in great shape. The course is both irrigated and features a drainage system, allowing you to fully enjoy your rounds at the Ashburton Golf Club during both the dry and wet seasons. The approx. 5,800 meter long course runs over relatively flat terrain, which means that you can easily navigate it by foot. The course is diverse, even experienced golfers need to show off their technical and strategic skill here. Players are rewarded with striking views of the facility that boasts mighty trees, as well as of the marvelous Aorangi landscape. The (usually) snow-covered mountains of the South Island rise in the background – what a delightful view! The pro shop at the Ashburton Golf Club as well as the new driving range are opened every day. Guests are always welcome. The clubhouse features a small bistro where you can enjoy meals and drinks. The Ashburton Golf Club is located in the eastern part of the South Island, between Christchurch and Timaru at the State Highway 1.
