Barbarossa Golfclub e.V.

About 13 kilometers northwest of Kaiserslautern, one can find the Golf Club Barbarossa e.V. It covers a hilly area of 80 hectares at an altitude of over 300 meters so that golfers have a good view to the south on the Sickinger Heights and the Palatinate Forest. When coming from Kaiserslautern, the Golf Club Barbarossa e.V. is easily accessible via the B37 and L367. From Mannheim, taking the A6 is quickest. The club was established in 1990 and offers an athletically challenging 18 hole course to passionate golfers, which was designed flat and lightly hilly with numerous water hazards. Interestingly, a stream combined with a wetland cut through the fairways, requiring a focused game with a high degree of precision from the golfers. The Golf Club Barbarossa e.V. has a driving range with 18 tees, six of which are covered. Putting, pitching and chipping greens, practice bunkers and a 3 hole short course offer enough opportunities for golfers to improve their game. Additionally, the Dominic Mursall Golf Academy offers trial and beginner classes. Suitable clothing can be purchased at the Pro Shop GC Barbarossa. Furthermore, electric trolleys and carts, trolleys and clubs can be rented for a relaxing game of golf.
