Bega Country Club

The Bega Country Club lies in a great, forest-rich hilly landscape. It is one of five golf parks on the enchanting Sapphire Coast in the south of New South Wales. The drive to the coast and to the airport each takes about 20 minutes, and Merimbula, known for its beautiful beaches, is about an hour away. The 18-hole course in Bega is perfectly embedded into the slightly hilly landscape. With a length of 5,819 meters (and par 72), it is quite short, but still diverse and excellently suited for golf pros as well as casual golfers. Large, ancient rubber trees, blossoming bushes, and beautiful ponds and water ditches shape the golf park, which is open all year and immaculately maintained. The first eight holes lie next to one another, and water hazards intervene at holes one to four. The course continues across a small street, where the holes run behind one another and finally lead back to the club house with a bar and lounges. The Bega Country Club features a pro shop and a golf school that offers individual and group lessons. Guests are always welcome here and can also participate in club tournaments. At the Bega Country Club, you can enjoy a pleasant, open atmosphere. Since the golf facility is not far from the well-known coastal road, a detour to Bega for a fine round of golf is definitely worthwhile for tourists.
