The 9-hole facility is a typical links course. It features an athletically very demanding course with deep sand bunkers that require technique and precision. The short game is particularly valuable on this very wavy terrain: There is only one par 4 and eight par 3s! Players are rewarded with a breathtaking view of the coast of North Head up to Malabar, of the picturesque Bondi beach, the harbor, and the fantastic skyline of Sydney. The area around Bondi Golf Club is also an ancient whale observation point. Hole 5 boasts Aboriginal rock carvings towards the sheer endless Pacific. The club features a very good golf restaurant, in which golfers like to congregate for a meal or a chat after their game. Bondi Golf Club’s short course is also interesting for those who do not have enough time for long games – or who still want to visit the world-famous Bondi beach, which is also very popular with surfers from around the world.
