Buna Vista Golf Sagogn

Buna Vista Golf Sagogn is dreamily embedded in the fantastic alpine landscape of Swiss canton Graubünden. The golf course extends on 750 meters above sea level between the villages Sagogn and Schluein above the young Vorderrhein. The course was designed by golf course designer John Chilver-Stainer in 2008. The 18-hole course is athletically challenging due to its numerous grass and sand bunkers, water hazards, tilted and undulated greens. The par 72 course is 6,004 meters long. You’ll be rewarded with fantastic panoramic views of the Sursleva and the Rhine Gorge. If you want to practice your swing you can do so at the driving range with 38 tees (14 of them covered) as wells as the pitching, chipping and putting greens or at the training bunkers. You can find a pro shop on site where you can borrow clubs, trolleys, electric trolleys or electric carts. Buna Vista Golf Sagogn means “nice view” in Rhaeto-Romanic. Indeed, you can enjoy a nice view on the course and from the terrace of the club restaurant VISTA: the dreamy mountain scenery from Laax to Ilanz and up to the Oberalb Pass. The club is usually open from April to November. You can reach Buna Vista Golf Sagogn by car in about 30 minutes from Chur. From Flims/Laax it is only eight to twelve minutes and Ilanz is even closer.
