Celtic Minor Golf Club

The traditional Palleg & Swansea Valley Golf Course is located between Swansea and Brecon directly southeast of Beacon National Park. From Bristol, it can be reached via the M4 and A4067 in around an hour and a half. Having been founded in 1930, the Palleg & Swansea Valley Golf Course is situated on land in the upper area of Swansey Valley, in a picturesque landscape with great views from nearly every fairway. Although it was originally built as a 9-hole golf course, it has since been expanded to include 18 holes (par 72). The new fairways (10 to 18) generally require more time as the first nine. The golf course – liked by both guests and locals – is open year round to guests, seven days a week when it is not hosting a competition. Overall, Palleg & Swansea Valley Golf Course can be considered intermediately difficult, even though the hole nicknamed “Little Mario” poses a challenge to even experienced golfers due to its water hazards and small green. Shoes, clubs, and buggies can be rented at the club house. The club house at Palleg & Swansea Valley Golf Course offers basic amenities and a relaxed atmosphere that facilities making new contacts.
