Craigieburn Willmott Golf Club

The Craigieburn Willmott Golf Club was opened in 1975 and recently merged with the Craigieburn Golf Club. The new club owns a very beautiful 18-hole course with par 72. It has an overall length of 6,142 meters and perfectly fits into the landscape. The beautiful course is situated right outside of Craigieburn, a small town in Melbourne’s surrounding areas. The great metropolis is about 30 kilometers away – just a “stone’s throw”. The course is a public golf course, excellently maintained, with a driving range and practice greens for training. Guests are always welcome at the golf club, which can be played on all year. The Craigieburn Willmott Golf Club is very active competitively with several teams and a youth area. There is an on-site golf school and a large pro shop. Items such as clubs, buggies, or electric carts can be rented or purchased here. The facility of the Craigieburn Willmott Golf Club ranges from wavy to hilly and is interesting for players of all handicaps. The course, with its long fairways mostly scattered with trees, demands precision and strategy. Several water hazards play a part in the course, as do numerous bunkers.
