Deggendorfer Golfclub e.V.

Deggendorfer Golfclub e.V. is located in the harmonious landscape of the Bavarian Forest nature reserve, about 12 kilometers northeast of Deggendorf. The 18-hole course, which was opened in 1981, was designed by Donald Harradine. The terrain is very hilly and has several water hazards. Its constantly changing terrain, leading through high forests and valleys, demands endurance. However, electric trolleys are available to lighten the strain. The course is challenging and some narrow fairways require well-placed shots. Overall, the course has rather short holes which require great concentration since there are water hazards, small landing zones are natural areas. Practice areas such as putting greens, pitching greens, chipping greens and practice bunkers are available. Furthermore, the driving range has 10 tees, three of which are covered. At Deggendorfer Golfclub e.V., guests are welcome anytime throughout the season, which runs from April until November. Guests must have a club ID with handicap. On weekends and public holidays, handicap 35 is required. Dogs are not permitted on the course. Softspikes are recommended, but not required. There is a clubhouse with sanitary facilities for guests, a bar and a snack bar. The Pro Shop has a wide selection of equipment and offers also rental clubs, trolleys and electric carts. The Deggendorfer Golfclub e.V. has its own golf school.
