GC Gutshof e.V. Papenburg-Aschendorf

The 18-hole golf park is located on a wonderful farm estate between Aschendorf and Papenburg. GC Gutshof e.V. Papenburg-Aschendorf was founded in 1986 and in 2011 redesigned by the renowned golf architect David Krause. The course with a par of 72 provides a sporty, challenging and diverse terrain across 80 hectares for golfers of all levels and abilities. The first five holes are generously laid out with broad fairways. The increased tee-off´s allow a good view of the place defined by large ponds and “waste areas”. The back 9 holes are a bit more open and the long hitters come here at their expense, although you can find bonny trees on the edge of the fairways. Beautiful ponds and old oak trees dominate the picture on the last few holes. The green 18 is situated just a few meters away from the clubhouse terrace. The driving range at GC Gutshof e.V. Papenburg-Aschendorf has 12 teeing points, ten of which are sheltered. Training facilities also include a putting, pitching and chipping green as well as bunkers. The club restaurant is inside the Art Nouveau farmhouse. The pro shop is located there, too. Clubs, trolleys or electric carts can be hired on request. The golf academy offers trial sessions and golf lessons out on the course as well as indoors. Members of GC Gutshof e.V. Papenburg-Aschendorf as well as members of other golf clubs (handicap requirement 54) are permitted to play on the course. It can be reached via the A31 by coming off at the exit Papenburg and heading towards Sögel.
