Golf- & Landclub Ennstal

The Golf- & Landclub Ennstal is located in an especially attractive meadow area between Maitschern and Liezen. This golf course is south of the Pyhrn Tunnel, not far from the A9 and can be easily reached via the B320. The course is characterized by its natural charm and environmentally oriented design. Golf- & Landclub Ennstal is the only golf course in Europe that lies within a Natura2000 protected area. The third oldest golf club in Steiermark was founded in 1977. The Golf- & Landclub Ennstal was expanded in 2001 to a total of 18 holes and in 2006, the fairways were improved significantly. Day guests are welcome in addition to members of the Golf- & Landclub Ennstal to improve their skills during a round of golf or to relax in the cozy club restaurant. In addition to the unique trees, the natural island green on the challenging fairway number 5 a challenge, even for experienced golfers. Of the 40 range tees at the driving range, four are covered. A number of putting, pitching, and chipping greens are available for golf lessons from the on-site golf school or for individual training sessions. A practice bunker and a 3-hole short course complete the facilities. The Golf- & Landclub Ennstal also has a well-stocked Pro Shop on-site.
