Golf Lerma

The Spanish region of Castile boasts an ancient cultural history. In the south of the province of Burgos lies the community of Lerma that boasts a historic city center worth visiting. Counting among the community’s fascinating highlights is also the 18-hole golf course that lies on a hill above the valley of Rio Arlanza. Golf Lerma was founded in 1992 and the designer, Pepe Gancedo, perfectly integrated the course into the unparalleled landscape. Its location at 850 meters above sea level provide beautiful views. The 5,900-meter long course with its eight lakes and two rivers is covered in oak and juniper trees and boasts typical Spanish flair. The demanding also course boasts water hazards. Guests are welcome anytime at Golf Lerma; though a club ID with handicap (28 for men / 36 for women) is required. For practicing, there is a driving range with 18 tees, of which 8 are covered. Additionally, there is a putting green and a practice bunker. Rental equipment is available at the Pro Shop and includes clubs, trolleys, and electric carts. Golf lessons are also available at Golf Lerma and the club house is well-equipped. Golf Lerma is located in one of the most interesting areas of Castile and promises an unusual golf experience.
