Nassfeld Golf

The Nassfeld Golf is located approximately in the middle between Lienz and Villach and can be easily reached by car via the B111. Since the golf course is only 250 meters from the regional train station Waidegg, it can also be easily reached by train. The 18-hole-course was opened in 2009 and is accessible to both members of the golf club Nassfeld and day guests. The Golfanlage Nassfeld Golf is located in a wide valley with both a moor and park character, the golf course is very flat and easy to traverse despite the breathtaking mountain panorama. Water hazards and sand bunks nevertheless make the Nassfeld Golf to an athletic challenge. Players can practice their game techniques at the driving range or on the 6-hole practice course (opened in 2008). The on-site golf school allows beginners and professionals to take part in lessons according to their skill and experience levels – even in accordance with a professional club fitting. The corresponding golf clubs, including other golf accessories, can be purchased in the well-stocked golf shop at Nassfeld Golf. The golf course also regularly hosts incentive events by companies that can be combined with dining at the Golf Restaurant Gailtal (the clubhouse). A special highlight at the Nassfeld Golf is the so-called Ski & Golf Trophy, an annual tournament every Spring which combines adventure skiing and golf.
