Golfanlage Schloss Lüdersburg – Old Course

The stylish golf park Golfanlage Schloss Lüdersburg is amidst the biosphere reserve “Niedersächsische Elbtalaue” and only 45 minutes southeast of Hamburg or 12 kilometers from Lüneburg. Embedded in the idyllic Elbmarsch scenery and the densely wooded geest landscape, the golf course is considered one of the most beautiful in Germany. Founded in 1988, the golf club has two award-winning, 18-hole championship courses – the so-called Old Course and the Lakes Course. Both are considered challenging and are on flat terrain. The 5,912-meter-long Old Course (par 73) is particularly enchanting in the spring with its blooming rhododendrons and fruit trees. Moreover, the green at hole 4 is the oldest island green in Germany. The 6,067-meter-long Lakes Course (par 72), which was built later, is a typical links course. Numerous water obstacles are featured across the park. Practice facilities are available in form of a driving range with 80 tee-off points (four sheltered) as well as putting, chipping and pitching facilities, a bunker and a 4-hole course that is open to the public. The club at Golfanlage Schloss Lüdersburg organizes around 100 tournaments each year on both courses. The golf club also offers golf license classes and trial sessions.
