Golfclub Ansbach e.V.

At the foot of the ancient Hohenzollernburg Colmberg, which today houses a romantic hotel, the first nine holes of the golf course of the Ansbach Golf Club are nestled along the Burgberg. This golf course counts among the most beautiful in Franconia. The club was founded in 1960 and has an 18-hole course (with par 70), as well as a spacious practice area with driving range. The main course is currently being extended to 18 holes (in the flat area). The terrain is varied, partly very hilly and sporty demanding. Even for experienced players, water hazards, fast and sloped greens are challenges. Again and again, there are grand views of the Altmühl Valley and the castle. The course lends itself to usage of a golf cart, which (in addition to other equipment) may be rented on site or purchased in the Pro Shop. At the driving range, experienced golf coaches give lessons to beginners and advanced players. After the game, golfers can relax in the familial atmosphere of the club’s restaurant or on the beautiful terrace. Beyond the fun of sports, visiting Golf Club Ansbach e.V. is a great starting point for trips to some of the most beautiful historic towns in Germany, such as Ansbach, Rothenburg ob der Tauber or Dinkelsbühl. The golf club is easily reached via the A6 or A7. Guests are welcome.
