Golfclub Berchtesgadener Land is in Ainring, just 10 minutes by car from Salzburg and Bad Reichenhall. The club’s 18 hole championship course with beautiful views of the Bavarian-Austrian Alps lies on the hilly terrain neat this Upper Bavarian village. This gently hilly course with par 72, opened in 1994 and featuring two by two holes is a challenge both for beginners and accomplished golfers. The grounds’ appealing architecture is characterized not just by its gorgeous location, but also by trees, ponds, natural streams, fast greens and about 40 well-placed bunkers. Every fairway offers beautiful views on the surroundings. Hole 11 is distinguished by its charming view of the pretty island green directly from the tee. Golfclub Berchtesgadener Land hosts several tournaments and exclusive golf events every year. There is also a golf school and a Pro Shop. The driving range has 20 tees as well as practice greens. At Golfclub Berchtesgadener Land, the hotel and restaurant “Wengerhof” with its sunny terrace caters to the physical well being of golfers and visitors. The course operates year-round.
