Golfclub Cochem-Mosel

The Golfclub Cochem-Mosel is part of the Roompot Ferien- und Golfresort Cochem, which is located in Ediger-Eller about four kilometers south of Cochem. The 27 hole golf park opened in 2006 on a terrace 400 meters above the Moselle and thus has a beautiful view of the lovely Moselle valley as well as of the ridges of the Hunsrück and the Eifel. The district Eller is located romantically at the feet of the Calmont, Europe’s steepest vineyard. The golf resort can be easily reached from Cochem via the K22, B49 or the L98. On an area of 90 hectares with a significant difference in height that has to be overcome, Christoph Städler has created an 18 hole Moselle course with par 72 and a public nine hole Eifel course with par 31 for the Golfclub Cochem-Mosel, which was founded in 1993. Both courses are lightly hilly and include water hazards. The Moselle course is very challenging concerning skill and fitness, thus it is more suitable for experienced golfers. In contrast, the Eifel course is easy and perfectly playable for beginners as well. Besides a Pro Shop, the Golfclub Cochem-Mosel offers a practice area with a driving range with 60 tees, of which 30 are covered, as well as practice bunkers, a putting green and a pitching and chipping area. Clubs, electric carts, and trolleys can be rented. Golf lessons in trial, beginner or practice classes for obtaining a license to play golf courses are offered by the club as well.
