Golfclub Gut Arenshorst

The Golfclub Gut Arenshorst was established in 1997 and is beautifully situated in the Osnabrück Land near the place of the legendary Battle of the Teutoburg Forest. The Roman legions suffered a crushing defeat here against the alliances of Germanic tribes under the leadership of Arminius 9 AD. The park with par 72 of 110 hectares is located near Bramsche between the foothills of the Wiehen Hills and the local recreation area Dümmer. The 18 hole course is arranged around the historic manor Arenshorst from the 12th century. The carefully created fairways are nestled in the idyllic cultural landscape with ancient oak trees and are integrated into the historic estate. It is a flat parkland course that requires a precise game. The park of the Golfclub Gut Arenshorst has a magnificent view of the vastness of the Osnabrück Land. Streams run across the course as well as nicely arranged ponds. Doglegs and bunkers make the Golfclub Gut Arenshorst an interesting destination – also for advanced players. The club organizes numerous tournaments and offers golf classes. The driving range contains 30 tees, green and fairway bunkers as well as a large putting and chipping green. Equipment can be rented and a Pro Shop is available on-site. The restaurant “Altes Forsthaus” located directly at tee 1 and hole 18 takes care of the golfers and their culinary needs.
