Golfclub Innsbruck-Igls/Rinn

At an altitude of 920 meters, the Golfclub Innsbruck-Igls/Rinn is located in the southeasterly mountains east of Innsbruck in the Tyrolean town of Rinn. Surround by the Alps, it is located on the cliffs of the Glungezer and fascinates with its fabled views which stretch from the Wetterstein silhouette to the Chalk Alps all the way to the imposing peak of the Wild Emperor. The Golfclub Innsbruck-Igls/Rinn is only 15 minutes by car from the Four-Hills-Tournament city of Innsbruck and is quickly reached via Rinner Road. 800 meters south of the town’s center, golfers can also arrive with bus 4134 within half an hour. The club was founded in 1935 and has an Alpine 18-hole Rinn course that is 6,055 meters long and designed as a championship course. It challenges golfers tactically with its hilly terrain, fairways that wind in concentrated circles over the plateau, lower lying greens, and the village stream which flows through the course. In the practice area, the Golfclub Innsbruck-Igls/Rinn has, in contrast to the second golf course of the club, a driving range with 14 tees, of which four are covered, practice bunkers, as well as a putting, pitching, and chipping area. This makes golf lessons using the driving range at the Rinn golf course possible. The GolfPros offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced courses. Golf equipment such as clubs, trolleys, and electric carts can be rented or purchased at the Pro-Shop GCI Infrastruktur GmbH.
