Golfclub Mülheim an der Ruhr Raffelberg

The Golfclub Mülheim an der Ruhr Raffelberg can be found in Speldorf – a district of Mülheim on the border to the neighboring town Duisburg in the western Ruhr Area. Since it is only five kilometers from Duisburg, nine kilometers from Oberhausen and twenty kilometers from Essen, its traffic connection via the A40 and B223 is great. Founded in 1999, the Golfclub Mülheim an der Ruhr Raffelberg started its club activity as a 9 hole course at first, which was built in the midst of the Pferderennbahn Raffelberg (racetrack). In 2011, the course was expanded to an 18 hole course by acquiring further park area from the neighboring racetrack. The very flat 18 hole course with par 66 and its intriguing to play island green, water hazards, sand and water bunkers is ranked as being manageable for all fitness levels and HPCs. The Golfclub Mülheim an der Ruhr Raffelberg offers a practice area with a driving range with 32 tees, of which 16 are covered and heatable. The driving range is equipped with floodlights so that golfers can practice in the dark, too. Furthermore, there is a putting green, a practice bunker, as well as a pitching and chipping area. Besides hired clubs, the club rents trolleys and electric carts. The golf school on-site offers trial, beginners, and advanced classes, as well as classes to obtain a license to play golf courses for new golfers.
