Golfclub Pfarrkirchenbim Mühlviertel

The Golfclub Pfarrkirchen im Mühlviertel lies at an altitude of 800 meters above sea level in the town of Pfarrkirchen in western Mühlviertel. With its exposed location, it offers a fabulous panorama view of the Schneeberg, the Dachstein mountain, the north Tyrolean chalk Alps, the Bohemian forest, the Linzer forest, all the way to the Bavarian Alpine upland with the Watzmann and Zuspitze mountains. The club is located directly in the center of town and boasts good road connections. Via the B127, it can be reached quickly from Linz only 50 kilometers away. Even from the Bavarian town of Passau, the Golfclub Pfarrkirchen im Mühlviertel can be quickly reached via the B130 in about 45 minutes. Founded in 1992, the club has a 9-hole-course with par 68, as well as a 4-hole short course for practice. The 9-hole-course demands precise golfing with its many slopes and large differences in altitude between fairways. With its hilly terrain and numerous water hazards, such as ponds, water ditches, biotopes, as well as bunkers, borders, and dog legs, it will test the skills of even more experienced golfers and beginners alike.
