Golfclub Sagmühle

The 18 hole championship course of Golfclub Sagmühle is the oldest golf course in Bad Griesbach. The course was designed by the well-known golf course architect Kurt Rossknecht in 1987 and is harmoniously integrated into the natural space by the Rott river. Old trees, countless shrubs, ornamental plants as well as natural water hazards run besides the fairways and greens. The course is flat and counts as one of the best in the region because of its diversified layout. There is a driving range as well as pitching, chipping and putting greens for practicing. Three experienced PGA golf pros offer highly qualified lessons. Equipment including electric trolleys and carts can be rented. The local Pro Shop is well assorted. Due to the favorable climatic conditions, the course can be played year-round and offers ideal preconditions for a holiday in the region. Gutshof Sagmühle has 23 rooms. The club’s restaurant “Sonne” and the community room welcome players to refuel with culinary highlights after the game. Small snacks can be purchased at the halfway house after hole 10. Guests with a license or handicap 54 and above are welcome at Golfclub Sagmühle. The club is located in the Lower Bavarian Spa Triangle of Bad Griesbach, Bad Birnbach and Bad Füssing. These towns, in addition to the Bavarian Forest, offer beautiful trip destinations. Passau, with its historic old town is only 30 minutes away by car.
