Golfclub Schloß Frauenthal

The Golfclub Schloß Frauenthal is located in southern Steiermark, off the touristic path and well integrated into the West Styrian hilly countryside. Those seeking calm and relaxation must look no further. The golf club was founded in 1988. The first 9 fairways lead through hilly terrain and are enforced by mixed woods. A special highlight is fairway 11 with its island green. In total, there are three fairways par 3 and five fairways par 5 on the course. The rest of the fairways are par 4. The driving range offers lots of room to practice and has 30 tees, of which five are covered. At Golfclub Schloß Frauenthal, there are ample challenges for beginners, intermediate players, as well as professionals. Many fairways boast water hazards and/or bunkers. The season at Golfclub Schloß Frauenthal is from April to November. Guests are quite welcome, though a reservation is required. In order to play on the 18-hole-course, a club membership card with a handicap of at least 45 is required. VcG players are allowed. To use the driving range and practice area, neither course experience or a club membership card are necessary. Rental clubs, trolley, and carts are available at Golfclub Schloß Frauenthal and can be acquired for a small fee.
