Golfclub Schloss Igling e.V., situated just short of 70 kilometers west of Munich, can be reached by car via the A96. Founded in 1989, the club is located on the grounds of the magical Castle of Igling. With its small, but exceptionally pretty 9 hole course, the club offers optimal conditions for demanding golf in a relaxed atmosphere. The American Don Herradine, respected as one of the best golf course architects, was responsible for the course’s design. On the club’s grounds there is also a prop shop, where golfers can purchase clothing and equipment from leading brand suppliers. The golf school, managed by Peter Zorich, gives beginning and advanced players alike the opportunity to improve their skills. At Golfclub Schloss Igling e.V., lessons are offered for individuals and groups of all ages. At the restaurant, located just across from the clubhouse, golfers can enjoy the evening with upscale cuisine in classy ambiance. During sunny weather, the extensive grounds of the castle invite visitors to take extended walks surrounded by nature all around. The club’s own hotel is located on the same premises and invites visitors to linger in the castle’s charming idyll for multiple days.
