Golfclub Schloss Lütetsburg

Golfclub Schloss Lütetsburg is only a few minutes’ drive from Norddeich and sits against the backdrop of the moated Lütetsburg Castle. The club has two 9-hole courses, designed by the renowned golf course architect David Krause in 2009 and 2010. They can be combined and played as an 18-hole course. The Schlossplatz course is only accessible for DGV golfers with a license and club membership, but the easier 9-hole Schatthausplatz is open to the public. Players can access the course without club membership but a license is mandatory. The fairways run along the beautiful Lütetsburg Castle as well as the charming castle gardens. The Schlossplatz parkour (par 72) is sporty and challenging, featuring a lot of water obstacles and 31 bunkers. Hole 7 is an island green and hole 4 is 569 meters long, making it one of the longest fairways in northern Germany. The course allows many variations of play and challenges golfers of all levels. Golfclub Schloss Lütetsburg provides practice facilities in form of a driving range with 21 teeing spots (eight sheltered). Moreover, golf enthusiasts have access to putting, chipping and pitching greens. Golfclub Schloss Lütetsburg also has a pro shop. The affiliated golf academy offers introductory and trial courses as well as private lessons and golf license training. It is possible to rent equipment. The historic estate of Schloss Lütetsburg also houses the clubhouse with the “Schatthaus” restaurant, where players can enjoy a relaxing end to an active day.
