Golfclub Vilsbiburg e.V. has a beautiful 9 hole course. It is located in Trauterfing, Lower Bavaria, which is not far from Vilsbiburg. The entire course is embedded harmoniously into the original natural landscape of the floodplains of the Große Vils. Characteristics of this course are ponds, natural trenches and backwaters of the Vils. They are integrated into the fairways together with several artificial hazards. The greens are demanding and require technique and precision from players of all handicap levels. The family-friendly Golfclub Vilsbiburg e.V. was founded in 1992. The 9 hole course with par 71 was designed by Harradine-Golf in 1998. One of the park’s highlights is the clubhouse, including the Golfstüberl and a pretty beer garden where the physical well being of players is taken care of. The practice area of the club includes a partially covered driving range with 20 tees, pitching, chipping and putting greens and practice bunkers. The PGA professionals at the golf school offer courses both for beginners and advanced players. On request, equipment can be borrowed or purchased in the Pro Shop. Golfclub Vilsbiburg e.V. is for the athletically ambitious. Its course can be played year-round and is easily reached via the B388.
