Golfclub zuGut Ludwigsberg e.V.

This 18 hole championship course was opened in 1991 and conceived by the well-known golf course architect Kurt Rossknecht. Lakes and wetlands structure the grounds and offer a beautiful complement to the very old tree population consisting of oaks, maples, ashes, birches and others. The par 72 course is challenging and demands technical ability and precision because of several water hazards. Holes 5 to 17 are located on a high plateau with several age-old oaks. Hole 3 and 18 stand out with their beautiful island green. All greens are faced and slightly undulating – perfect for putting. Many fairways offer a breathtakingly beautiful, 300 km wide panorama of the Alps – one of the highlights of the club, which was founded in 1988. In addition to the 18 hole course, there is also a 9 hole short course that is well suited for beginners or just for training purposes. The driving range has 45 tees. There are putting, pitching and chipping greens as well as practice bunkers. Golfclub zu Gut Ludwigsberg e. V. is ambitious and organizes several tournaments every year. Equipment can be purchased or borrowed in the Pro Shop. Golfclub zu Gut Ludwigsberg e. V. further offers a golf school and a beautiful restaurant. The golf course is 35 minutes away from Augsburg and 45 minutes away from Munich. A trip to Lake Constance from here takes only 50 minutes until Lindau.
