Golfpark Fehmarn

Golfpark Fehmarn is on Germany’s third largest island in the district of Wulfen in the south of the island. It surrounds the local recreation area, Wulfener Berge, and guarantees breathtaking views of the Baltic Sea from all teeing spots and fairways. The panoramic views also include the port of Burg – the largest town on Fehmarn – as well as Burg’s inland lake (Burger Binnensee) and the Fehmarn Sound Bridge, which connects the Baltic island with the mainland. Golfpark Fehmarn is well connected via the bridge and the B202. It was founded in 1987 and has two courses that are suitable for beginners as well as experienced golfers. The publically accessible 18-hole course with a par of 72 was designed by Ernst Potthast and is deemed a challenging course due to its flat and lightly sloping terrain with water obstacles. A special feature is the green at hole 9, which is designed in the shape of Fehmarn island, and as such depicts an island on an island. Golfpark Fehmarn also has a public 9-hole course with a par of 54. The driving range in the training area of the golf park has 30 tee-off points, five of which are sheltered. Moreover, there is a putting and pitching area with a practice bunker as well as a 3-hole short course. Clubs, trolleys, electric carts and electric trolleys are available to hire for playing and training purposes. The park’s own golf academy offers trial sessions, beginner courses and handicap training for golf enthusiasts.
