Golfpark Idstein – Südkurs

The Golfpark Idstein is located on a plateau on the northern border of Idstein-Wörsdorf in the Hessian Rheingau-Taunus-Kreis. With its area of 160 hectares it is the largest golf resort in the entire Rhine-Main area. Due to its good traffic connection, the Golfpark Idstein can be quickly reached via the A3 Frankfurt-Cologne from Wiesbaden and Frankfurt am Main. Founded in 1989, the golf club offers a 36 hole park that was certified in 2008 as a 5 star park. The public parkland type 18 hole south course “Gut Henriettenthal” with par 72 requires a high level of skill because of its lightly hilly course scattered with bushes, single trees, orchards and water hazards. No wonder that the south course has already been the venue for the International PGA-Seniors Championship twice. The second public 18 hole north course “Goldener Grund” with par 72 located in Idstein-Walsdorf is also ranked as athletically challenging due to its lightly hilly terrain with numerous water hazards. In addition to the two courses, the Golfpark Idstein offers two driving ranges with covered and illuminated teeing boxes for those wanting to practice their game. Furthermore, the club owns three putting greens, three pitching greens with bunkers, a chipping green and a 3 hole short course. Golf equipment like clubs, trolleys, electric carts and trolleys can be rented and caddies can be booked as well.
