Golfpark Strelasund GmbH & Co. KG – Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Platz

Golfpark Strelasund GmbH & Co. KG lies amidst the vast, hilly countryside of Western Pomerania in the Süderholz district of Kaschow. It has very good transport links due to its location between Greifswald and Stralsund, two towns which are 23 and 30 kilometers away. Golfpark Strelasund GmbH & Co. KG can quickly be reached from Greifswald via the B109 and nearly just as quickly from Stralsund via the B96. The golf park was named after the Baltic inlet Strelasund between Rügen and Stralsund. It was founded in 2003 on the grounds of a former manor and boasts a golf hotel alongside a 18-hole golf park. Opened in 2006, the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania course (AB) was designed by the renowned golf course architect David Krause, who gave the course a flat design with forests, ponds, cleverly shaped bunkers and beautiful island greens. The Strelasund Island course (CD), opened in 2007, provides an attractive contrast with its slightly hilly terrain that requires different game tactics. The practice section at Golfpark Strelasund GmbH & Co. KG has a spacious driving range with 30 tee-off points, four of which are sheltered, as well as two putting and pitching greens. Trolleys, electric carts and golf clubs are available for hire. The on-site golf academy offers introductory and beginner classes as well as golf license and handicap improvement courses.
