Schloss Schwöbber is right next to one of the most beautiful Weser Renaissance castles – the three-winged Schwöbber Castle, which is now a 5-star hotel and once belonged to the well-known von Münchhausen family. The club’s spacious grounds feature a golf park that blends harmoniously into the unique scenery, promising competitive golfers a challenging game while still retaining its appeal for beginners. Founded in 1985, Hamelner Golfclub e. V. Schloss Schwöbber is not far from the historical pied piper town of Hameln. Golfers can expect magnificent views of the castle and the wonderful Weserberg scenery. With around 200 tournaments each year, Hamelner Golfclub e. V. Schloss Schwöbber is highly popular with golf players. Two challenging 18-hole courses are available for club members and guests: the nearly 6-kilometer-long and slightly hilly Baron von Münchhausen course (par 73) as well as the shorter, flatter Lucia von Reden course. With its 2,813 meters (par 59), the latter is ideal for golfers who are short of time. Training facilities include a driving range (with floodlights), as well as a putting, pitching and chipping green, and a practice bunker. The golf academy offers golf license classes and taster sessions. Players can get kitted out in the pro shop, where they can buy or hire equipment. The club restaurant (Mulligan’s) is known for its social atmosphere, culinary highlights and wonderful terrace.
