Küsten-Golfclub”Hohe Klint” Cuxhaven e.V.

The name “Küsten-Golfclub” (coastal golf club) speaks for itself; Küsten-Golfclub “Hohe Klint” Cuxhaven e.V. with its 18-hole championship course is situated directly on the North Sea coast. Around one third of the gently modeled parkour is surrounded by trees. Its proximity to the North Sea is apparent in the face of the wind and the fresh sea breeze. The par 72 course challenges recreational golfers as well as high-performing players with its spaciously laid out fairways. Sixteen holes are on the “Hoher Klint” geest uplands, and two are on marshy terrain. Bends, former pasture borders as well as five small ponds require a targeted and accurate game. Küsten-Golfclub “Hohe Klint” Cuxhaven e.V. was founded in 1978. Not only does it boast one of the most beautiful courses in northern Germany, it has also been featuring among the top five in the German Golf Association rankings for years, and is considered one of the most successfully performing clubs. Around 3,500 green fee players visit Küsten-Golfclub “Hohe Klint” Cuxhaven e.V. every year. The golf academy offers handicap and trial lessons. Training facilities include a driving range with open and sheltered teeing points. Long hitters can train with a driver here, too. Clubs and trolleys can be hired or purchased in the pro shop. Golfers can enjoy a meal in the clubhouse or on the terrace after their game. The course is best reached by taking the A27 and coming off at Nordholz.
