Libertad Golf Club

Libertad Golf Club is located in the Argentinian town of Libertad, which belongs to the municipality of Merlo in Greater Buenos Aires. It winds along a terrain of a former hacienda, surrounded by a grove that was created through reforestation. The area of initially 24 hectares received an addition of 18 hectares in 1994, turning it into an area comprising 42 hectares. Libertad Golf Club is easy to reach from Buenos Aires via Monseñor Bufano. It first opened a 9-hole course in 1928, which was then expanded to an 18-hole parkland course with par 72 in 1994. The 6,217-meter-long course runs along wavy terrain and is characterized by lengthy fairways as well as undulating greens that spread across 500 square meters. Water hazards such as lakes and ponds provide an athletic and tactical challenge on Libertad Golf Club’s course, but these can easily be mastered by both beginners and experienced golfers. At the holes, golfers will find five different options for teeing off, catering to a variety of playing strengths. The club features a driving range and a putting green for practicing long hits as well as the short game. In addition to golf clubs, trolleys and electric carts can also be rented on site.
