Manor House Golf Club

The course in the amazingly beautiful Cotswolds is a true golfing gem! The 18-hole course at Manor House Golf Club was designed by Peter Alliss and Clive Clarke in 1992 and counts among the finest golf courses in England since its opening. The club is located on expansive, hilly parkland terrain near the quaint town of Castle Combe in the southwest of England. The championship course is challenging. Already the first tee-off with view of the waterfall is simply fantastic. The course is characterized by several water hazards, almost 60 bunkers and carefully tended greens and culminates in one of the best final holes in the game of golf. Even the driving range with its various practice greens as well as the very well-sorted Pro Shop at Manor House Golf Club leave nothing to be desired. It is also possible to stay at the adjacent hotel, the luxurious Manor House, which stands in the middle of the scrupulously tended park. There are special golf offers for weekend or events. Castle Combe with its historic village center is definitely a must-see sight. Even Bath, famous for its Roman baths, is not far away. Manor House Golf Club is easily reached by car from nearby Bristol via the M4.
