Miona Lake Golf Club

The Miona Lake Golf Club is located in the city of Wildwood in Sumter County, which is part of the US state of Florida. It lies in a quiet residential complex near Miona Lake is seven minutes away from the city center. From Orlando, Miona Lake Golf Club can be reached in about an hour via Florida’s Turnpike. The club opened an 18-hole parkland course with par 71 in 1966, created by a golfer community. The golf course reopened its gates after renovations in August 2016. The course is 5,862 meters long and features narrow fairways closely lined by trees as well as clever, fast greens. Bunkers, doglegs as well as lakes and ponds as water hazards provide obstacles to the demanding course at Miona Lake Golf Club. Particularly the last holes are affected by the water hazards, which only come into play at 8 of the 18 holes – unusual for Florida.
