After Adelaide, Mount Gambier is the second largest city in the state of South Australia with 25,000 inhabitants. It lies in the far southeast of the state midway between Melbourne and Adelaide. Mount Gambier Golf Club is one of the best golf courses far and wide (among the top 100 of Australia!) and was already awarded for its beautiful garden design. The abundance of bird species and tame kangaroos on the perfectly groomed course is also great. Visitors are always welcome at the Mount Gambier Golf Club. The sports facilities include a driving range, a golf school, as well as a pro shop. The comfortable golf bistro, which offers a large selection of dishes and drinks, takes care of your physical well-being. Athletically-speaking, Mount Gambier Golf Club is a very good address. The nearby Blue Lake is worth a trip. The famous volcanic lake especially fascinates in summer with its cobalt blue water.
