Neangar Park Golf Club

Neangar Park Golf Club, which was founded in 1931, lies in a suburb of Bendigo. It is one of the leading golf courses in Central Victoria. In January, the club is regularly the host of the PGA Pro AM. The course is in best form year-round. It is an 18-hole-course with par 71 and a length of 5,685 meters. The course of the Neangar Park Golf Club offers golf players of all divisions pure golfing pleasure on hilly terrain. The fairways are surrounded by trees and – just like the greens – accurately groomed. Tees, fairways, and greens are irrigated, so that they shine in green, even in dry seasons. Regarding the layout, there are only two holes on the course, which are not protected by bunkers, as well as three ponds. The course consists of five par 3 (147-191 m), nine par 4 (253-388 m), and four par 5 (430-475 m). The training grounds also leave no desires unfulfilled. There is a very well equipped pro shop on site, which is run by the PGA Pro Erik Hendrix. Bendigo is an old gold mining town. Today, the once earned wealth still shows in the large buildings in the centre built in colonial style. The Talking Tram, the historical tram, is a highlight.
