Nowra Golf & Recreation Club

The beautiful club is in Nowra, a small town at the A1 in the Australian state of New South Wales. It is around 160 kilometres south of Sydney. The club exists since 1954. The course is beautifully located. It directly borders the Shoal haven River and was perfectly integrated into the river bank. Therefore, the golf players are provided with wonderful, paradisiacal views over the picturesque water landscape. It is a 5,166-meter-long course with par 68. The fairways are surrounded by trees and many greens are protected by bunkers or water hazards. The terrain at the Nowra Golf & Recreation Club is slightly hilly and the course always presents itself perfectly groomed. Some tees and greens are a bit elevated, so that you can enjoy a great view of the river. The course is athletically challenging, but can also be mastered by occasional golf players. Guest are always welcome at the Nowra Golf & Recreation Club. The club is very athletically active, there is a well sorted pro shop and a golf school, as well as a special junior programmed. The club restaurant is only open on Friday nights. However, drinks, as well as snacks such as sandwiches, wraps and the like, are available at the bistro daily. The Nowra Golf & Recreation Club is said to be one of the most beautiful golf courses in the area – a must for friends of golf.
