Penrhos Golf Club – Championship Course

The Penrhos Golf Club is an idyllic golf resort, not far from the Welsh coast between Aberport and Aberystwyth. From Cardiff, its rural location in the hilly landscape near the small town of Llanrhystud can be reached in around two hours by car. Golf has been played here under competitive conditions since 1993. The 18-hole course can be played thoroughout the year due to being well-maintained and it offers even experienced golfers a demanding golf experience. The course was designed by David Williams and boasts local vegetation that integrates it well into the natural landscape of the the Welsh area surrounding the Penrhos Golf Club. Natural water hazards, trees, and green valley characterize the terrain and make the 18-hole course interesting for golfers of every level. For beginners and those interested in technical practice can take advantage of the smaller 9-hole golf course “Red Kite” and the surprises it has in store. Individual and group lessons are available here, taught by certified golf professions at Penrhos Golf Club. The well-maintained driving range boasts flood lights allowing visitors to continue practicing late into the night. Not far from the vacation houses, Penrhos Golf Club also has a well-stocked Pro Shop and a restaurant with a cozy bar.
