Rio Grande Golf Club

The Rio Grande Golf Club lies near the Argentinian city of Rio Grande in the province of Tierra del Fuego. It is situated on the 62,000-hectare site of the Estancia Maria Behety and allows a wide view of Argentina’s Pampas. From Rio Grande, the largest city on the group of islands at South America’s southern tip, the Rio Grande Golf Club can be reached in half an hour via the RP C. The same route brings golfers to the club in 25 minutes from Rio Grande Airport. From Buenos Aires International Airport, the flight takes three and a half hours. The Rio Grande Golf Club opened a 9-hole course with par 54 and a length of 1,789 meters in 2001. It runs across flat terrain and is characterized by many sand bunkers. In the club’s practice area, golfers will find a driving range, a putting green, as well as a short game area for practicing long hits and the short game. Golf clubs are available for rental.
