Golfanlage Rottbach

This golf course near Rottbach, built originally in 1997, was extended into a 27 hole championship course in 2007 by the renowned golf course architect Thomas Himmel. The spacious grounds of Golfanlage Rottbach cover 147 hectares. With 6,480 m of “white” tees, it is one of the longest in the area. With its harmonious integration into the landscape, Golfanlage Rottbach meets every requirement of playing enjoyable golf at all handicap levels. Courses A and B are situated in a flat funnel in the gentle hill landscape at the foothills of the Alps. Just 30 km west of Munich, Golfanlage Rottbach can be reached via the A8 (exit Sulzemoos) in a little less than 25 minutes – ideal in order to take some time out after work on the golf course. The course features water hazards such ponds and creeks as well as greenside bunkers. On request, a complete set of equipment can be rented on site. For training purposes, there is a large driving range with 50 tees (7 covered tees and 2 tee-off boxes), a public 3 hole golf course as well as pitching, chipping and putting greens. The golf club organizes numerous tournaments and offers introduction courses as well as courses to obtain the license to play golf courses in Germany. Equipment can be rented or purchased in the Pro Shop. The kitchen team behind the golf restaurant “Genusswerkstatt am Weiherhäus” takes care of culinary highlights.
