St. Eugène Golf Resort & Casino

The hotel resort with its excellent golf course is located in British Columbia, not far from the US border and only a few minutes by car from Kimberly. Here, the Canadian Rockies, the Purcell Mountains, and the St. Mary’s River create a fantastic landscape – unique even in Canada. The St. Eugène Golf Resort & Casino is idyllically situated on St. Mary’s River that winds through the landscape with numerous twists and turns. The course was designed by renowned golf course architect Les Furber. He integrated the 18-hole course harmoniously into the landscape so that the fairways offer dreamy views of the river and the mountains with their mighty 2,846-meter high Fisher Peak. Water hazards, bunkers with majestic white sand, and hilly greens characterize the varied course. There is a halfway house on the course, as well as the “19th Hole Restaurant & Bar,” open until late in the evening. Nearby is the beautiful St. Eugène Hotel with a large spa area, casino, and other activities. Guests at the golf course do not require a special handicap. Only a few minutes from the St. Eugène Golf Resort & Casino is the open-air museum Fort Steele that presents the history of gold-seekers that settled in the area in 1865.
