Templeton Golf Club

The Templeton Golf Club is located on the South Island of New Zealand, only 20 minutes from the city center of Christchurch. The airport is only around ten minutes away. The club has long-standing traditions and boasts a splendid 18 hole championship course with par 73. It offers splendid golfing opportunities to both experienced players and beginners over a total length of 6,053 meters. A round of golf generally takes around three hours and the course is characterized by the many water hazards. They intersect the course challengingly and harmonize perfectly with the courses overall ambience. The hilly course boasts perfectly tended fairways as well as excellent greens. Small wonder that the Templeton Golf Club is considered one of the most attractive golf courses in the Christchurch region. The service area of the club is also excellent with a well-equipped pro shop that offers all common brands that also rents out equipment, a golf academy, and a practice area. Christchurch is the largest city of the South Island, which is definitely worth a visit, also after the devastating earthquake of 2011. In spring and autumn, the inhabitants greet the Godwits’ return after their record flight from the Arctic, and conversely wish them a safe flight, with the tolling of bells – a wonderful gesture!
