The Crete Golf Club

The golf course The Crete Golf Club can be found in the beautiful location of the mountains near Hersonissos. The 18-hole course is a true golf paradise and was designed by the well-known golf course architect Bob Hunt. He gently inserted the course into the grand mountain landscape. It was opened in 2003. After an extensive modernization, the course reopened in 2015. It can comfortably be reached from Heraklion in 20 minutes by car. Even though it does not contain any water hazards, the course is varied and offers golfers of all abilities an athletic challenge with its hilly terrain. From its very well kept fairways, one has a fantastic view of the wooded, mountainous surroundings. The exclusive clubhouse with restaurant and a large outdoor terrace offers very high comfort. After finishing your round, you can comfortably recall the day of golf with a good meal here. The Pro Shop offers a large selection of golf items for purchase or rental. A spacious driving range with practice greens as well as the comprehensive offers of the Aegean Golf Academy complete the golf course. Here, golf instructors offer individual or group lessons for beginners or advanced players.
