Villanueva Golf

The province of Cadiz is located in the similarly-named bay on the southwest coast of Spain in the region of Andalusia. Only a few kilometers from the provincial capital Cadiz, the quiet town of Barrio Jarana/Puerto Real offers a special highlight with the Golfclub Villanueva Golf. The 18-hole course was opened in 2006 by Aymerich Golf Management. The course is considered demanding and is type parkland. The terrain mostly flat or slightly hilly and boasts water hazards that lend the excited course additional suspense. The fairways are thickly-covered; the greens are loyal and medium-hard. Holes 6 and 16 are interesting tees that have trees in the middle of the respective fairways. Due to its proximity to the ocean, strong or constant winds can become a challenge. At the Club Villanueva Golf, guests are always welcome, however, they must be in possession of a club ID with a registered handicap of 36. Soft spikes are required on the course. The driving range boasts 50 range tees and is part of the practice area which also includes putting, pitching, and chipping greens, in addition to practice bunkers. The Club Villanueva Golf also has a club house and a Pro Shop that offers rental equipment, such as clubs, trolleys, and electric carts. The Villaneuva golf school also offers golf lessons.
