Blue Lake Public Golf Links

In the midst of the beautiful crater lakes landscape and just a few minutes by car from Mount Gambier, you can find a great golf course: the Blue Lake Public Golf Links. The 18-hole par 70 course is 5,638 meters long and stands out with its exceptionally well-tended fairways. The club has existed since 1972. The atmosphere is easy-going and welcoming. Visitors are welcome anytime, all year round. The course’s layout is athletically demanding. The course runs along a slightly wavy terrain with meticulously designed fairways and fantastic greens covered with kikuyu or winter rye grass. Wide fairways alternate with narrow ones, and there are no water hazards. In 2007 and 2008, the South Australia PGA Championships took place here, and in 2016, the Blue Lake Public Golf Links even received the honor of hosting the South Australian PGA Seniors Championship. From the newly built club house, you can enjoy a grand view of the golf park of the Blue Lake Public Golf Links. Mount Gambier lies halfway between Adelaide and Melbourne. Both maar lakes of Mount Gambier are close by. Blue Lake is particularly well known. As the seasons change, so does its color: While the water appears gray in winter, the volcanic lake presents itself in an intensive cobalt blue in the summer!
