Bunbury Golf Club

In a beautiful landscape and quiet location between the Collie river and the Leschenault lagoon lies the Bunbury Golf Club on an estate of 72 hectares. The facility is about ten kilometers from the city of Bunbury. Perth is situated 150 kilometers to the north, a trip of about 90 minutes. Opened in 1948, the club features a very well-kept public 18-hole course and belongs to the top ten courses in western Australia. Renewed by the renowned golf course architect Michael Coate in 1994, the course is athletically quite demanding. The terrain is forested and very hilly, with cleverly placed bunkers and water hazards – a great course for players of all handicaps. The greens are always perfectly maintained, and the players can view not only the beautiful park and great sights of the landscape during their game, but also the hustle and bustle of the kangaroos, 200 of which can regularly be met here. The Bunbury Golf Club is very well equipped. It has a PGA golf school, an aqua driving range, practice greens, and a very well-equipped pro shop. The club restaurant and Vittoria’s Bay Bar are also recommended. Bunbury Golf Club is a golf paradise which frequently hosts prestigious golf tournaments. Wine lovers will also get their money’s worth in Bunbury. The area is a well-known wine growing region.
