Lakeside Golf Club Camden

One of the best golf courses around Sydney. The Lakeside Golf Club Camden was inaugurated in 1993 and has since became one of the most popular destinations among the international golf community. The 6,300-meter-long par-72-course was built by the golf legend Peter Thomson. It is the only course in Sydney by the five-time British-Open-winner and his partners Ross Perrett and Mike Wolveridge. Depending on the play level of the golf players, three different tee positions are possible on the links course. For high-performance players, there are five “tiger-tees”. Typical for Lakeside are pot bunkers and wavy fairways, which require excellent technique and are in no way inferior to the classic links-courses in Scotland. The great course ends with a “glory or death”-hole: a par 4 with 379 meters, where you have the possibility to either confidently hit across a lake to the green or play it safe. The service offer at the club is excellent, as well as the large training area with a driving range. Electric carts are offered to all players at the Lakeside Golf Club Camden. Golf clubs and the like can be hired at the pro shop. An exclusive, award-winning clubhouse with a restaurant, bar, and terrace round off the special ambience of the Lakeside Golf Club Camden. The course is about 65 kilometres southwest of the centre of Sydney.
