Club Campestre de Mexicali

The golf course is situated in Mexicali, a city with a population of approx. 690,000 inhabitants. It is located at the border to the United States (California), in the extreme north of Mexico in the state of Baja California. Mexicali is also the capital of Baja California. Tijuana with its Pacific coast and San Diego in the USA are both approx. 200 kilometers to the west of Mexicali. The Club Campestre de Mexicali was founded in 1959. The facility can easily be reached by car, as it is located less than ten kilometers away from the inner city. The club grounds sprawl over a beautiful and scenic location by the lagoon of the dammed Jilotepec. The golf course makes perfect use of the natural characteristics of the flat site with trees and numerous water points. The long lanes require technique and concentration. This also applies to the greens. They are well protected by bunkers or water hazards. Nevertheless, this 18-hole course with par-72 offers advanced golfers as well as beginners or hobby golfers a perfect balance of athletic challenges and enjoyment. The Club Campestre de Mexicali also has a pro-shop, a restaurant with a lovely outdoor terrace and a bar. A driving range and training greens are available for training or warm-up. The swimming pool can certainly be used for cooling down. Guests are more than welcome; the atmosphere is friendly and casual.
